This blog has been months in the making and I hope you return frequently. The Lone Star is dedicated to distant friends and family, job seekers, seekers of knowledge, bakers and life learners in general. I hope you find yourself in one of those categories; I know I am, well, in all of them.
So begins the "getting to know you" process- I am Kendra, I am married to my better 2/3s, Stephen, for just at 6 months now! Best 6 months of my life, for certain. We have 1 baby, Monet, our giant black cat I rescued in Texas. Stephen and I went to TCU in Fort Worth, where he was a swimmer and I was a springboard diver. We have been blessed with a tremendous group of friends that we miss everyday. We look forward to continuing our journey in Texas when he completes grad school in just over a years time. Life moves so quickly! I hope you will follow our adventures.
